Veda Archana Sastry  is an Indian film actress, known for her works predominantly in Telugu cinema, and for a few Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. Debuting as Veda in Tapana, she subsequently changed her stage name to Archana, by which she was more popularly known. She is perhaps best known for her performances in Nenu, Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Aa Dinagalu.

South Indian film actress, Archana Veda was born in 8th October in 1985 Trivenuali, Tamil Nadu, her original name is Veda Archana Sastry.

Veda has mostly appeared in Telugu movies. After her debut with the Telugu movie “Pelli Sambhandam” in 2000 she has appeared in almost a dozen of Telugu movies.
Veda is a smart and se*y film actress who played many roles in the movies. She was off with homely roles initially but found no success, and later came to know that bold roles came her way which she took & currently is the se*iest star in Tollywood.

Veda has been into dancing for several years. It has been her passion for several years. Her mother is a Mohiniattam specialist. Veda used to accompanied her mother on several stage shows. Veda‘s father always wanted her to be a dancer.

Veda, becoming a star didn’t happened overnight, her father was not very keen on getting into films. But her friends kept saying that she has a good future in films. And when Nenu came her way, Veda was very much impressed with its story line. Then she told her father that the subject was too good to be missed. Though he had his misgivings, he saw the point in my steadfast arguments. Finally, he accepted.

Veda  started off with homely roles but found no success , and found out that bold roles came her way which she took & currenly is the se*iest star in Tollywood. She says, “People still think North Indian and Mumbai imports are the only ones suited for glamorous roles. I want to change that perception, atleast at personal level.”
